Northside CommUNITY is a project of the Northside TNT Team that participated in The Leadership Classroom program of the Central New York Community Foundation and is supported with a generous grant from the Central New York Community Foundation.
The population of the Northside grew in the 2010 Census, largely because of the addition of many refugees from all around the world. The Northside is welcoming the world to neighborhoods that historically have been the first home of waves of immigrants from Italy, Germany, Southeast Asia and more.
The vision of Northside CommUNITY is an ongoing process that will identify, inform and help make accessible to all the many and varied resources that are available in our neighborhoods.
The Leadership Classroom, 2010-11, Northside TNT Team was Gemma Ash, Gilda DiCaprio, Ernest Lewis, Sandy Ostrander, Joel Rinne, and Katie Scott.
